Support Bitwise Industries Furloughed Employees

Hi, my name is Priscilla and I am here on behalf of my team from Bitwise Industries. As some of you may know, Bitwise Industries furloughed 100% of the company and failed to pay employees their last wages. The ripple effects this has created on the community and so many families is hard to put into words. We are still hurting and in shock, and for this reason I am here to do whatever I can to help my Bitwise community. I am asking for any contribution to help us during these hard and dark times. For logistics, I want everyone to know that all monies will be distributed evenly to those impacted by these events. I will not personally grab from this fund, but I have organized an internal opt-in from for former employees who would like to benefit from this. The plan is to receive as many opt-ins as possible- which will include their Venmo, CashApp, and/or other preferred form. For those reading this and thinking about donating, please highly consider doing so. Many of us have banks accounts in the negative after not receiving our last two paychecks. Many of us had multiple people in our households working for Bitwise and were unable to make our mortgage payments or rent. Many of us are also single parents or are currently with-child with minimal support. Any and everything is greatly appreciated, so please highly consider helping. We are also providing a fundraising event on Friday, June 23rd and are looking for any type of donation. Funds will be disbursed after this event.
