Funeral Expenses for Gabino Guerrero

Hello, this is Yesenia, Carina, Deysy, Brian, and Moises Guerrero - Gabino Guerrero's children. We are asking for donations for my father's funeral expenses. Anything helps.

He died Saturday afternoon in a tragic car accident. He was on his way home after finishing a job 3 hours away. He was almost home. He was so close. He wasn't supposed to work that day. He hadn't worked in almost 2 years because of chronic illnesses caused by all the years he worked in construction. In November, we received notice that we would lose the house within a month, and thankfully we didn't, but because of that we were so stretched with money. I(Carina) told him that he didn't have to work anymore that I would take care of it - that we'd all rather not risk his health getting worse - that all his children would help him without hesitation. We were all celebrating less than a week ago. He left Saturday morning because he wanted to earn some extra money to help my mom and travel Mexico at the end of the month to celebrate. That's the only reason he went to work that day.

We want to give him a proper funeral and lay to rest in El Portugues, Quereatoro, Mexico. He would talk about his dream to retire in Mexico with my mom after everyone graduated from college. His eyes would literally sparkle. Even though he was sick, he had so much life to him. It's not fair the way he was taken away. He suffered so much and all because he didn't want to be a burden - and he never was. He was so loved and will be missed dearly.
