Funds to Help Replace Samad's Totaled Vehicle

Dear friends and well-wishers.

My name is Ameena and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my brother, Samad Ali. On February 22nd, 2024, Samad was involved in a devastating car crash by a semi-truck which totaled his vehicle entirely. My family and I are so thankful that he is still with us, however this collision has now created a huge burden on his everyday life.

As an older brother, Samad has always had a very happy, cheerful and protective nature to him. He would go out of his way to lend a hand whenever he can. Samad holds an exceedingly high work ethic and was transitioning to a new career. It’s unfortunate that in all his 15 years as a mindful and safe driver, such a wretched event blind sided us. Even in this traumatic moment, Samad remained optimistic and hopeful.

Without his vehicle he lost his main source of income which was his delivery job. As he is currently seeking other means of income, he is currently undergoing routine physical therapy for injuries sustained. He suffered intense whiplash which led to severe shoulder, back and arm pain causing mobility issues. The lack of a vehicle has created an inconvenience and has made it harder to get to places. And unfortunately, his insurance did not pay out an adequate amount to help replace the vehicle. With the stress of daily expenses and monthly bills, he now has the additional weight of medical bills to handle.

So in this time of need, my family and I are reaching out to raise enough money to help him get back on his feet! Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make significant progress in our lives, which at the moment feels is at a standstill. The funds raised will be used towards finding another vehicle for Samad. Let’s reignite his zest for life!
