Funds for Artie

Meet Artie. He's the big beautiful Great Dane you see in the pictures along with his brothers Nuvik and Nunuk, and parents Stacey and Matthew. He's 11 months old and his parents need our help! Artie and his brothers came in contact with Kennel Cough that is making its rounds around the Lunenburg county area. Unfortunately, Artie's immune system wasn't strong enough to fight it off, and it has turned into severe severe pneumonia and is in critical condition!! He has been hospitalized since rushing him to PEI Saturday, May 20th, while his parents and brothers stay in a hotel close by. Artie has gone from 115lbs to 94lbs only being able to eat the bare minimum. He has gone through many tests and x rays, which show some improvement, while other parts have gotten worse. His temperature hit as high as 104.8 and is so unstable on the feet he needs to be carried. His parents are devastated, but are not backing down! They aren't letting this go without a fight, but with this comes more procedures and some very hefty vets bills.I can't do much myself, but I'm hoping to raise something to help ease their minds even the slightest while they have to go through this terrible time. It doesn't help the stress that they are to be married in 4 weeks and have already canceled their honeymoon in hopes to spend more time and money on him. Please help by just sharing this! Their hope is to bring some awareness to Kennel Cough for other dog parents. Please spread the word! And send prayers, positive vibes, and love their way!
