We are sad to announce that our brother Abdelmajeed Lkhal passed away on Saturday August 3rd and was buried on Sunday August 4th. Abdelmajid had been in the Yale hospital since April of 2019.
The New Haven Islamic Center in Orange Connecticut, of which Abdelmajid had been a long standing member and former dedicated and hard working Executive Committee member, is continuing to raise funds to support his family (wife and 3 kids). There are yet MANY and EXPENSIVE medical bills that will come in addition to all other living expenses. Abdelmajeed was the main provider for the family and his wife and kids are unfortunately left to bear this HUGE financial burden.
We all know how difficult it is to not have an income let alone have outrageous medical bills on top of it all. All of your generous donations, are handled by the Executive Committee president, Shamssud-deen Kandjrika, who is directly overseeing the withdrawal of the funds and getting them to Abdelmajid's wife in full.
Many GOOD DEEDS and opportunities pass us by without us pitching in but ask yourself this, how would you feel if you left your family behind to fend for themselves? What would you tell those that read this message and just ignore it? Allah SWT is certainly the most generous and the provider but WE, Muslims, MUST come together to support one another.
