Supporting Pilgrimage to Lourdes as a Volunteer
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Annabel a Staff Volunteer, and along with other volunteers from the All Saints Catholic Academy Trust and Loreto School, I’m helping with the Westminster Diocese Pilgrimage to Lourdes with the 'Red Caps' from 25th July- 1st August 2025.
This pilgrimage is incredibly special because we take sick, disabled, and elderly pilgrims on a journey of healing, faith, and renewal. It’s an opportunity for them to experience the grace of Lourdes, and for us, as volunteers, to serve and support them in any way we can.
Our role as volunteers is to assist with all aspects of the pilgrimage—whether it's helping with mobility, providing care, or offering a listening ear. Each of us is dedicated to ensuring that every pilgrim can participate in the pilgrimage and feel the love and care of our community. It’s truly a humbling experience, and we know how much this journey means to the pilgrims.
But we can’t do this without your help. The costs of transportation and accommodation are significant. We are all self funded volunteers therefore by supporting us, you’re helping bring comfort and hope to those who may not otherwise have the chance to experience Lourdes.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a huge difference. Your support, whether through donations or prayers, will help bring them closer to the spiritual healing that Lourdes offers.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. With your help, we can make this pilgrimage possible for those who need it most.
