Fundraising to support Friends of Frankie

So guys its 2020 and i thought what better way to start the year than signing up to a charity boxing match ....... crazy some may say , but there is method in my madness ! Although i have personal goals i would like to achieve , i am doing this to raise money in memory of a beautiful little boy Frankie who was taken very suddenly last May .

A little message from Frankies Mummy 

Friends of Frankie is a charity set up by Frankie’s parents after the sudden death of Frankie in May 2019. He was a happy, healthy 3 year old who was put to bed as normal, only to be found unresponsive the next morning. Friends of Frankie started by raising money for the incredible Alder Hey Bereavement Centre who provide support for bereaved parents, siblings and other family members who find themselves in this horrendous position. Frankie spent some time there after he fell asleep and the care myself and Frankie’s daddy James received from them was incredible.

We have now started raising money to fund research into Sudden Unexplained Death in Children through SUDC UK. This is so very important, we need to find out how and why this happens so that we can prevent it happening to other children. There is a long term vision for Friends of Frankie which includes research into this but right now let’s pump money into a charity that is already carrying out this vital research!
