Help Ugandan Orphanage: Neighbour to the Needy

This campaign is in support of Neighbour to the Needy, an orphanage in Uganda started by Musana Tobiya.

 

Neighbour to the Needy currently has 30 children under their care and are in desperate need of funding to continue their ability to provide for them. The orphanage is 100% dependent on donations to keep a roof over their heads, food in their bellies, clothes on their backs, the children in school, and to raise them in a way that empowers them to be self-reliant in adulthood.

 

I met Musana via Instagram in 2021 when he reached out asking for help. To be completely honest, I was skeptical especially in the age of COVID where scams are plentiful. After feeling hesitation for a couple of days, Musana explained how funds can only be received through World Remit (www.worldremit.com), and I knew he, and his intentions, were well-meaning. Now, these children are a constant in my life and I cannot imagine a world without this special relationship.

 

I’m reaching out to my global community of friends and family to come together to raise money for the needs of these children.

 

It’s amazing to see how bright, joyful and happy they all are despite the cards they’ve been dealt in this life. I can see that these children are being raised with love and care and can feel the sincerity and deep calling within Musana to dedicate his life to caring for these children.
