Fundraising for Camp Moria
Donation protected
We are five final year GP Trainees who are travelling as medical volunteers to the largest refugee camp in Europe-Camp Moria in Lesvos, Greece. We travel at the beginning of March with the UK Based Volunteering Organisation Kitrinos Healthcare.
Currently in Camp Moria, there are approximately 20,000 refugees in a camp which is fit for 3,000. This degree of overcrowding is inhumane and people living here are at great risk of illness and injury, whilst awaiting safe passage to Europe.
We are aiming to raise money to purchase medications and equipment which can be used in the clinic which is trying desperately to provide urgent care with an under-resourced team. Any remaining money will be donated to Kitrinos to spend as they see fit. We would really appreciate any donations you can spare which will be used to provide medical care to people in their greatest need. Thank You!
