Fundraising: Coronavirus in Peru

We are facing some very difficult times at the moment. Although it is scary, and there is a lot of uncertainty, some of us are in much more fortunate positions.
To my friends and family at home and around the world I hope that during these time you also think about the rest of the world, and how the other half live. The 50% of the world that lives off less than 5€ a day.
The majority of the world lives day-to-day. Live without bank accounts and savings. Without clean water and access to the basic necessities.
Here in Peru we have been in quarantine for 2 weeks, with another 2 weeks to go. People have no way of earning money to feed their families. A major income here is tourism, which will be low even after the quarantine ends. Many families in my community are being affected. But we are in a position to help. We are looking at more than 300 families who are quickly running out of food and already some who are experiencing starvation. Our goal is to collect 3000€ to purchase food/medicine and distribute as quickly as possible.
A kg of rice here costs approx 3 soles which is roughly equivalent to 0,80€. A kg of potatoes the same. Your daily 3€ coffee could go a VERY long way in many parts of the world.
Every euro counts, every euro helps. We all share the same earth, some are just born ‘luckier’ ❤️.
