Le Plonc Staff Relief Fund

After two years of providing hospitality in Silicon Valley, and then Melbourne, we have had to temporarily close our doors to our loyal customers because of the world-wide COVID-19 crisis.

This is a time of uncertainty for so many, not least for our staff who have served you with pleasure over many months. The last thing we want is to stand down our wonderful workers, but the financial challenges leave us no alternative. We know only too well how much our staff — chefs, servers and dishwashers — strive for excellence every day, as well as the very long hours they put in to bring you the food, wine and cocktails you have come to love. That is why guests, friends and neighbours have been telling us they want to help.

Please give whatever you can.  Not only will it help our staff pay their rents, their grocery bills and likely medical expenses, but it will also give them some much-needed hope. There is life after Coronavirus and we want them back to be the familiar faces that helped create for you that “home away from home” feeling our Le Plonc venues are known for.
