Fundraiser for Heather Centella Care

Hi, my name is Teddy Luckadoo. I, along with my wife and many others, are reaching out to do what we can to assist a dear friend and her family get through what is the biggest challenge they have faced in their life. Heather, 38 years old, suffered a stroke in November of 2022. She has just returned home, after spending a couple months in the hospital and rehabilitation facility. While great progress was made, there is still a ways to go in her rehabilitation process. The problem right now, is that their Tricare insurance has denied them in home healthcare services, which is required. Heather cannot be at home by herself during the day as she has not gained the ability to walk again and has loss of some motor functions. Her husband Andrew, is a soldier, who has deployed many times and served our country. Being active duty, work must go on. Their children are young and in school. Family has been assisting, but they also have work and many live away from them. Friends are working and helping out when we can.

With all that said, having been denied in home health, has put a lot of strain on them. Having priced in-home health, to get the services she needs, it's $1,000 per week. Let's just say her loss of income from no longer working has and will make things tough. It is estimated that she needs about 12-13 weeks of in-home care during the week while Andrew works. Let's come together to help out this military family who has given so much over the year's as he has served our country. Let's get them the $13,000 they need to provide her with basic in-home health services that they should never have been denied and are much needed.
