Dr. Viera is a hospice physician at a hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is in need of basic hygiene items for her patients including towels, soap, toothpaste, etc., as well as basic medical supplies to take care of her patients while the relief efforts get started.
Following the recent hurricanes, the entire island of Puerto Rico is without power and will be for months There is also excessive amounts of flooding and devesation to the infrastructure.
With the money raised from this fundraiser, the items most needed by Dr. Viera to care for her patients will be purchased using Amazon Prime and shipped for free to the hospital (once shipping becomes possible hopefully in the next couple weeks).
