Hi,
My name is Petina. I am an older student who has lived and achieved by continuing to overcome a life dominated by various socioeconomic disparities. I give back to society by continuing to study issues of disparity and inequality and by contributing to knowledge that can help more than one or two people escape poverty. My goal is to help people across socioeconomic identities and boundaries by investigating equitable pathways to equality. Furthermore, my mixed-method research makes socially important messages accessible to as many people as possible as it examines equality in Quality of Life.
As a former high school dropout, and a current PhD candidate, I have always been an older student. This means that I do not have an IRA or a 401K. I spent two years developing my Research to be conducted in India. A condition of my language learning funding is that I am unable to receive financial compensation for any work I perform while in India. My funding covers language learning and not my research expenses. I need your contribution to help me succeed in this important research.
