Funding for Nadia's Initiative

Hi everyone! For the last regular class of the semester, my friends and I decided to do a little something special for one of our university's most beloved professors. We posted it on TikTok not expecting it to blow up at all, but it has reached over 16 million people and so much love has come from it since!

Dr. Brown teaches a course that studies difficult histories and critical theory, and one of the events we studied was the Yazidi Genocide. Nadia Murad is a survivor of the genocide that has dedicated the past couple of years to advocating for the rights of the Yazidi people and working to improve the conditions of impoverished communities around the world. She founded Nadia's Initiative in 2018 and has supported the fight for women's rights, sexual abuse victims, educational opportunities, and so much more. We wanted to ensure we were doing good with the platform we've been able to gain from the video and hope to be able to make an impact as students. Any amount donated would be appreciated, and the funds will go directly to Nadia's Initiative via GoFundMe.
