Dr. Yale's Cancer Donations

For those of you who know Dr.  Robert Yale or have read his blog , you'll know that he is a dearly beloved teacher at the University of Dallas for the College of Business (especially for undergraduates.) I, myself, personally took a few of his classes and can attest to the high level education I received from his incredible classes. 

Unfortunately, tragedy has struck for him and his beautiful family recently. Not too long ago, doctors discovered a tumor in his stomach, and many lymph nodes in his abdominal cavity. Some were even found beyond, showing extremely high levels of metabolic activity, indicative of cancer that has spread from the stomach tumor to the lymph nodes. If the cancer (Adenocarcinoma) has spread this far, it is likely a surgical resection of the tumor and lymph nodes in his abdomen will not be possible. Chemotherapy may be used, but only as a means of slowing the cancer - no cure will be possible. He will be at MD Anderson over the next few days for a full diagnosis and treatment plan.

While prayers are incredibly appreciated, my fellow UD students and graduates felt we could also contribute monetarily to Robert, his wife Melissa, and their two beautiful children.
