Hello.  My name is Maila Livingston. I'm reaching out to you because I started a GoFundMe to help my small family during this tough chapter of our lives.  I am devoted mother of two children and a wife of a good man.  Unfortunately, my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer and is due for surgery.  The hemicolectomy is scheduled in early January, and we are awaiting the results of many tests.

Our family is strained financially due to other medical circumstances impacting my husband's ability to stay employed.  Combined with the demands of our special needs child at home, the financial hardship is compounded.
