Upside Arts is a new theatrical production company for Seacoast area youth and teens that will aim to build confidence, sense of self, and empathy through thoughtful, original, and creative storytelling.
Founded by Miles Burns and Seraphina Caligiure, and with help from Alden Caple, Joshua Goldberg and many parents and friends, we are so excited to be starting something new and creative and to work again with the incredibly talented kids on the seacoast.
Our goal of $5000 will help bring life to this new company. Money will go toward props, costumes, rehearsal and performance space rentals, rights and royalties for shows, payment for crew, and any other start up costs we are going to face. $5,000 won't realistically be enough for everything we need, but it will be huge start to get things moving!
We have two upcoming projects this holiday season:
Saving Santa Claus- an original Miles Burns musical that will consist of youth actors ages 7-16 years old.
We will also be partnering with the Firehouse Center for the Arts to produce: A Charlie Brown Christmas, which will be performed as a TYA production with local professional actors.
Any and every amount helps to fund this new Arts endeavor.
We have a few different levels of donations for you to consider. If you wish to donate on a sponsor level you can either do so here, or reach out directly to us. Everyone who donates $25 or more to Upside Arts will receive a Thank You in our playbills for our Holiday shows

$250-$499- Dragon Charmer
$500-$999- Wizard of Whimsy
$1000 and up- Fairy Godmother (Sponsorship Level)- Please contact for some great perks and advertising options
