Fund British Citizenship fees for British kid!
The Home Office application fee for a child who has lived all of his life in Britain, to become a British citizen is currently £1030.
In December 2019, the High Court ruled that the high fee was unlawful in respect to a child’s application cost for British citizenship.
The court case was supported by Amnesty International UK. Even so, the fee is £1030 for children who have lived all or most of their lives in the UK!
I’m asking you to help contribute towards Tyreese’s application costs, because if he doesn’t officially become British it might disadvantage him when it comes to applying for jobs, training and medical costs. He is already British and shouldn’t have to be denied his rights because the government wants to profit from these fees.
Many of us did not have to pay these fees to lead our lives in the UK, it’s very unfair for a parent to be under such strain to fund this application.
