Alyssa's Gender Affirmation Top Surgery Fundraiser

Thank YOU for clicking on and even considering donating to my fundraiser. Those of you who know me understand how important this procedure is to me. For those who do not, I am Alyssa; I use They/Them pronouns and identify as Genderqueer/Non-Binary. I will be receiving Gender Affirmation Surgery in the form of a Double Mastectomy on July 22, 2024. I have previously received a diagnosis of Gender Dysphoria and have been in counseling for the last three years, as a result of the impact it has had on my every day. My price estimate came back with a $6,500 out-of-pocket charge for this procedure; I will also likely be unable to work for 3-4 weeks post-op, so I am trying to tie up loose ends in preparation. My goal is to fundraise about half and save the other half between now and then. I am willing to do anything to make this happen; any and all donations are appreciated, and I will keep y'all updated throughout my journey. Gender-affirming care is healthcare and saves lives.
