Fullterm pregnant mom that’s unexpectedly jobless

Hi my daughter is 38 weeks pregnant and was wrongfully fired this week from her job. They refused to accept notes from her doctor that were requested by them AND pregnancy related! They told her that she would just need to supply notes with the reason for her absences and then in the end, not accept them!! She was a week away from going on leave and was relying on short term disability to be her income while she was off work. Them firing her obviously made it so that she no longer has income to support her and her newborn child. All of this happened a week before Christmas, her induction date and 2 weeks before rent/utilities are due. We are not asking for much, just something to help her cover this months bills until she can at least HEAL and find new employment!
