Fuel Jade's Competitive Figure Skating Aspiration

Hi! My name is Jade and I am fulfilling my childhood dream of being a competitive figure skater! 

This sport grabbed my attention as a child and in September of 2022, I laced up my skates for my first lesson as an adult. I’ve since trained to compete and was excited to bring home my first gold medal in July of 2023! I don’t fit the traditional profile of what you see on TV in this sport, but this has only deepened my determination to excel and show others that everyone belongs on the ice regardless of shape, size, or age. The rink has become my second home and I hope to continue to share my love for the ice with others and inspire others to take on new challenges in the spaces that call to them. It is never too late to do what you love!
