Following Eleanor Roosevelt's success at DC MIST Regionals, we hope to take our success to the National level. MIST is a Muslim Interscholastic High School Tournament that brings together Muslim Youth from all over the country to compete in a Halal, Fun, Academic competition to bring out the best and the brightest of our community.
Our Team Eleanor Roosevelt qualified for Nationals in over 50 Competitions at DC regionals; however, the price of Travel and Board to Detroit, Michigan is going to cost each individual competitor around $300 to attend.
As you can imagine, this places a significant strain on our teams ability to attend and compete. With your help, we can (Inshallah) take our full team and compete at Nationals against the best from all over the country. All donations will go directly to cover Transportation, Lodging & MIST Costs.
In 2023, our school placed 4rd for Best School, carrying DC to 3rd Place Overall Region. Inshallah, we hope to do even better this year.
MIST Nationals is August 8-10 at Wayne University in Detroit Michigan.
