Fuel Apollo Flowerchild's Dream: East Coast Tour 2025

My name is Apollo Flowerchild and I am a singer/songwriter from Brooklyn, New York, who's been a working artist for the last 7 years. I am fundraising for my very first tour on the East Coast. From headlining Pride festivals to being featured on both American local and Canadian local television, I have played so many shows in my home base city (and loved every single one), and I believe it's time to take my career to unexplored pastures.
Despite being a music teacher and working artist for so long, it is difficult to make a living as a working artist and save for expenses like this one. I am not signed to a label anymore, and resources are far and few for young Black-trans artists. I have only known poverty and living paycheck to paycheck, so I am asking the community to assist with making this career-advancing move.
This tour will be spearheading the release of the epilogue of my album project "Drawing 101" called "Advanced Color Theory," which is an evolving mosaic of my translation of the elusive truths of our/my existence. It rounds out the already wide range of sounds on the first record, from Bossa nova to theatrical rock ballads, with more experiments in indie folk and jazz funk fusion sounds.
We all know how expensive a tour can be, which is why I am limiting my locations for this first one to drivable cities near me. I will be going on this tour with a small 3-piece trio of my AAA battery backing band alongside one other amazing artist (TBA). I'm hoping to raise these funds for the summer of 2025 (earliest July) as that is when everyone accounted for the tour would be available to travel for 2-3 weeks.
These funds would cover the cost of a vehicle to transport gear and folks, the cost of Airbnb and/or hotel stays, paying the musicians for working on the tour, covering the bar minimums/sound engineer fees for venues, printing exclusive merchandise (T-shirts, CDs, prints) for the new release, and paying my home base bills before I leave for that month.
