Hello. My name is Hussein Obeid. I am 22 Years old. I have a small family: My wife and my one year old daughter. She has lived her entire life in a Genocide.

I had a wonderful life before October 7th. My father had 3 very successful businesses and I grew up in a beautiful home with 5 sisters and 1 brother. I worked for my father.

I had hoped to study abroad, but my father needed me, so I stayed and began my studies in Civil Engineering. I also got married young, to my wife Aya. We moved into and created our own beautiful home and had a son.

I had just begun my 3rd year of a 5 year Civil Engineering Program in September 2023. October 7th was the beginning of losing every single thing of my entire life.

My father's 3 businesses were completely demolished. My families home and my own home were destroyed. My University and Professors ...completely eliminated. Everything i have ever worked so hard for and known in my lifetime.....reduced to rubble and ash. Including all of my hopes and dreams. But that was just the beginning.
My sister needed a bone marrow transplant, so my Mother, Father and all of my siblings went to Egypt. They needed to see if any of the family members were a match. However...they are still in Egypt and my sister has never received her treatment.

My sister Dareen was in Nursing School. She received high Academic Honors and sincerely wanted to help people. But, every single school, college and university has been bombed and eliminated. All six of my siblings educational dreams reduced to nothing.

At the time of Israel's initial ferocious bombing campaign in October 2023, my small family was forced to flee. My wife Aya was 9 month's pregnant. We were displaced numerous times, and eventually tried to get to Rafah.

But just as Aya went into labor, the IDF came. They forced me and my son to leave her in labor on the side of the road. I did NOT want to leave her. I was detained by the IDF and my young son was martyred. It took me 5 months to get back to Aya, and to meet my new daughter Reema.

Since that time, we have experienced nothing but hardship and loss. I lost several Uncles during the first Mawasi camp Massacre. We lost our tent and all our accumulated belongings. I also inherited 27 family members, 15 of which are children.

We were displaced an additional 4 times in 2 weeks. Then when I took my young Uncle to have surgery 6 weeks ago, I returned to find all the tents burned down from a second bombing intensive.

That day, my aunt who had previously lost her husband (My Uncle), also lost her brother and father. That night she gave birth to a very strong baby boy. It was a very difficult labor.

I have slept on the streets, without a tent. I am the eldest male in my group of 31 people. We men sleep on the street and the women and children must sleep in other relatives shelters. Food is outrageously expensive, so are diapers.

Reema just turned one year old in October. She has lived her entire life in these horrible times. She recently experienced high fevers for two weeks straight. After 3 doctor visits they determined she had a blood infection. She is now doing a bit better with antibiotics.

My life is beyond difficult, as are all Gazan Families. My family and I have lost every single thing from our lives. We have nothing, nothing but our faith and each other.....and YOU..

My entire family of 31 people need 3 Tents, food, water, medicine, diapers. We need everything sufficient to sustain human life.

After working very hard for most of my life, I now find myself completely reliant on your help to keep my small family alive. I need weekly food, milk, diapers, warm clothes, blankets and a tent.

Some of these items are a one time need, the others are continuous.

We need.( 1000$)for a tent, warm clothes and blankets.

We need (250$)weekly for food, water, milk, fuel and diapers weekly.

We are humbly grateful for your continued support during this extraordinarily difficult time. We cannot survive without your help. Thank You.
