My hometown of Montego Bay, Jamaica has been devastated by Category 5 Hurricane Melissa — the strongest storm we’ve ever faced. My family and friends have lost everything… their homes, roofs, clothing, and even access to clean water and electricity.

Some of them are sleeping in damaged homes with no beds, no power, and no safe place to rest. Many families are struggling just to find food and drinking water. As I sit here in tears, my only prayer is to bring them hope and help them rebuild their lives.

After much prayer, I’m starting this GoFundMe to raise funds for families in my hometown who need urgent help. Every donation will go toward roof repairs, clothing, food, clean water, and essential supplies for those who’ve lost everything.

Even a small donation can make a big difference — one meal, one roof, one life at a time.
