From Gaza, I Speak — Help Me Support My Family, My People

Hello, my name is Baraa Mattar, and this is the first fundraiser I’ve ever created.

I never thought I’d be here asking for help, but right now, I don’t have another choice. I’m launching this campaign to support my family, the people around me, and to keep documenting our reality here in Gaza.

The situation is unbearable. We are facing war, destruction, loss, and deep psychological trauma. The air is heavy, the nights are long, and the fear never stops. Every day is about survival — not just physically, but mentally too.

I’ve been trying to show the world what’s happening through my social media. I speak from Gaza with pain and humor — funny and sad content.

I was once sensitive, but this brutal war changes everything.

I do not belong to anyone anymore.

I leave everything to God.

This fundraiser is about:

Helping my family and my neighbors get food, water, medicine, and shelter

Supporting those around me who have lost everything

Replacing my phone, which is broken — it's my only tool to share our stories with the world

Continuing to speak up and give voice to the people here — so we’re not forgotten

I’m not just asking for money. I’m asking you to see us, to listen, and to help however you can — whether it’s donating, or simply sharing this.

من غزة أتكلم — ساعدوني لأدعم عائلتي والناس حولي، ولأستمر في نقل صوتنا للعالم

مرحباً، اسمي براء مطر، وهذه أول مرة في حياتي أبدأ فيها حملة لجمع التبرعات.

ما كنت حابب أوصل لهيك مرحلة، بس حالياً ما عندي خيار تاني. أنا ببدأ هاي الحملة حتى أساعد عيلتي، وأساعد الناس اللي حوالينا في غزة، ولحتى أقدر أكمل توثيق حياتنا وأوصل صوتنا للعالم.

الوضع صعب، بل مستحيل. إحنا بنعيش تحت الحرب، تحت القصف، تحت الخوف اليومي، وتحت ضغط نفسي ما حد بيتخيله. البيوت تهدمت، الأحلام تكسرت، والقلوب تعبت.

على السوشال ميديا بحاول أشارك الواقع، بدمعة وضحكة، بألم وبسخرية.

شاب فقير، تعبان، بيحاول يضحك الناس وهو موجوع. إذا عجبك محتواي، تابعني.

كنت حساس، بس الحرب ما بتخلي حدا حساس.

ما بعود أنتمي لأي شي…
