Here’s my story from the past four years:
- 2022: I missed qualifying for the Olympic Games by just 0.6 seconds.
- 2023: One week before the World Championships, I had an epileptic seizure alone in my hotel room.
- I was found 19 hours later and was 2 days in a coma.
- My family didn’t know if I would survive — or if I’d wake up with brain damage.
- But I was incredibly lucky. I woke up and started the long road back.
Since then:
- I’ve fought hard to return to normal life — and to the elite level of speedskating.
- Now I’m giving everything to qualify for the 2026 Olympic Games.
- I’m training, racing World Cups (qualification races for the olympics), attending training camps, and covering expenses for equipment and coaching — all of which are very costly.
- I’ve already borrowed money and covered some expenses myself. I'm doing everything I can to make this Olympic push possible, but it’s not sustainable without support.
Why I’ve started this crowdfunding:
- Unfortunately, I’ve lost financial support from the Danish Olympic Committee, which makes this dream extremely difficult to pursue.
- Every contribution, no matter the size, helps me get one step closer to the Olympic starting line.
- Your support will go directly toward training, travel, equipment, and coaching for this crucial olympic season. The total amout won't even cover all my costs, but I'm trying to make it work.
