Seven years ago, our lives changed forever when our beautiful daughter Charlotte arrived at just 23 weeks.

She was incredibly tiny, and from the moment she was born, she faced a fight that no baby should ever have to face. Those first weeks and months were filled with fear, uncertainty and some of the hardest moments we have ever experienced.

But she fought.

Through the incredible care, dedication and compassion of the neonatal team, our tiny girl grew stronger. Today, she is 7 years old, and seeing the amazing little girl she has become is something we will never take for granted. ❤️

We will always be incredibly grateful to the people who cared for her when she was at her most vulnerable.

That is why we want to give something back.

This year, Charlotte is taking on the Mini Great North Run to raise money for Tiny Lives, helping support premature and sick babies and their families, and helping provide the care, equipment and support that can make such an enormous difference during those frightening first days and weeks.

We know first-hand what it feels like to sit beside an incubator, hoping and praying that your tiny baby will make it through.

Our daughter was given a chance.

Now we’d love to help give other tiny babies and their families that same hope.
