A recently set up Group of volunteers which has been formally established with a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and members called "Friends of Old Church Graveyard". This group have set about assisting the County Council in maintaining and upkeep of the Old Church Graveyard, in particular Pathways in both the Old & New Section.

It is hoped to expand on this work as the Group progress and dependant on any financial support donated.

Also having a keen interest in the History/Heritage of the Church & the Graveyard and have future plans in this regard, and long term plans on the Heritage aspect include renovating the Caretakers Cottage into a Visitor / Interpretive Centre with the history of the Old Church & Graveyard available for all to see.

They will commence with a Tour of the Old Church Graveyard on Sun 17th Aug to tie in with Heritage Week.

The Group are seeking donations to purchase some necessary maintenance equipment / tools etc to enable them to carry out their work.
