Hi, my name is Gerry Higgins and I am the Co-Chair of the Friends of Borough Dam. We are a volunteer - based community group that works with Doylestown Borough to support programing and special events at the Borough Dam at Chapman Park in Doylestown. They include holding 2 Fishing Derbies annually, a Youth Derby for kids 16 and under and also a Derby for Seniors (65+), Disabled Veterans ( from 3 area veterans homes) , local nursing home residences and People with Physical Disabilities each spring at the Borough Dam. We are in need of your help to raise the funds to help continue these community events . We stock this Borough Dam with over 1600# of trout and at these derbies we provide FREE food and refreshments for all that attend. These fishing derby's are a tradition dating back to the Late 1950's and all funds will go to keeping the Friends of the Borough Dam and their events alive for many years to come. We greatly appreciate your contributions this year and also any donations in the past .
