Friends of the Bernstein Family

In June of 2018, Tyler Bernstein, 14 years-old, was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy, an enlarged heart.  His doctors and parents tried treating it in and out if the hospital with IV and oral medications but were unsuccessful.

Unfortunately, Tyler’s condition worsened and on October 17, 2018, he was implanted with a Left Ventricular Assist Device and placed on the Heart Transplant list.  Tyler and his family are currently waiting at NYU Presbyterian Children’s Hospital for him to undergo a heart transplant. 

It it is our hope that this fund will help to defray some of the current and future expenses which have and will allow Tyler to have one or both parents with him at all times.
