Friends of Green Cottage Pets is endeavoring to engage the people of Gig Harbor, or citizens of main streets in small towns everywhere, to help one of our beloved storefronts survive the ravages of COVID and the economic times which we are all suffering through currently.

Green Cottage Pets has been a Gig Harbor Institution for over 20 years. It is a small mom-and-pop store, which so many of us depend on for pet food, toys, and supplies. If you are running late getting home from work, just call and Tom or Anna will make sure a bag is waiting for you to pick up. Can't remember what you buy, no worries, Anna knows. Your dog or cat comes along to visit, Tom or Anna is waiting with a treat to welcome them inside.

There is an emphasis on nutrition and health, which owner Tom Moody and general manager Anna Suplik, happily share with the community, whether you buy from them or not. Before you even buy a bag of dog food, Anna will load you up with a selection of samples to make your pet happy with your choice. This is not something you find in large retail stores we are all plagued with these days.

But times have ravaged this small harbor town's main street. The mom and pops won't be here much longer to offer that special treatment if we don't support them. So, I'm asking you today to support us in reaching our goal of $20,000 to help Green Cottage Pets remain one of Gig Harbors' neighbors
