Friends of Derek Cornette for Alderman 2021

Hello Fellow Davenportians,

I am running for the 7th Ward Alderman in Davenport IA. I continue meeting with with the people of the 7th ward and obtaining signatures to be placed on the ballot for the scheduled election on Nov. 2, 21. I have lived in the QCA since 1994. Left for my job twice but always came home.

I am a Radiological Technologist, and was an assistant professor at the Canal Zone College in Panama for 7 yrs. I retired from the RIA as a health physicist with almost 28 years service to our country. I was deployed to Kuwait and Afghanistan during my time at the arsenal.

I believe in the protection and safety of the residents of the 7th ward. I am a fiscal conservative and do not favor any new tax increases. I plan to answer all questions and complaints in a timely fashion and to give the residents of the 7th ward strong representation in the city council. I hope to counteract the liberal creep into our schools, policies and politicians.

I look forward to serving the 7th Ward with honor and I hope that I can count on your vote. Any donation is greatly appreciated and you can be assured it will go to campaign materials. There isn't much time before the Nov. election. Your help is necessary for me to continue my dream of helping the people of Davenport.
