Annette Condon Stewart , dear friend, colleague, and revered kindergarten teacher passed away Monday, October 22, 2018. The Roosevelt Elementary School community is raising funds to assist the family in paying significant medical, hospital, and associated expenses incurred while she was fighting her illness.
Annette was a cherished colleague that was loved and respected by the young students she taught over nearly three decades in the Olympia Public Schools. Her passion for teaching, along with her kindness and generosity, made a lasting impact on the many lives she touched over the years.
Her colleagues summed up that positive impact by simply stating "she was the best kindergarten teacher ever;” a sentiment repeated over her long career by parents and students alike.
In aiding Annette’s family during this difficult time, any amount contributed is highly appreciated by the extended Roosevelt school community. All funds raised will be donated to her husband John and family.
