On Monday, February 22nd, Sheri Hurst-
Cox and her youngest daughter were in a
horrible accident. They were hit by a
careless driver, head-on, and at a
high rate of speed.
Miraculously, Sheri’s daughter only
sustained bruising from the seatbelt!
What a blessing that is.
Sheri’s injuries, however, are severe
and numerous. She was rushed by
ambulance for emergency surgery due to internal bleeding. Lacerations and
multiple bones broken, 
including leg, ankle and pelvis.
By the sounds of it, we can count
ourselves lucky to have our friend Sheri
with us!
She has undergone four surgeries just
this past week, and months of therapy
are in her future.
Spencer has been by her side but that
means he’s rapidly burning sick/vacation
days. And Sheri is obviously unable to
work her part-time job.
I’ve spoken with Sheri and Spencer, who
expressed extreme gratitude for the
outpouring of love and support.
