Fresno T.N.R. Rescue Van Restoration Campaign

Hi, my name is Brenda Bethel and I am part of the cat rescue community and experience firsthand why this fundraising campaign is so important and very much needed. If you don’t know her already, I’d like to introduce Brandi Can . She is the founder of Fresno T. N. R. and works closely with her rescue partner Gilbert Romero. Brandi and Gilbert devote many, many hours each day to their mission of lowering the numbers of our stray cat population by humanly trapping , spay and neutering and then returning the sterile cats to their familiar location . The amount of work and dedication this requires is endless and exhausting. Last year there were 1593 kitties TNR’d due to these efforts and this year to date as of April 1, 2023 their number TNR’d will stand at 752 . Brandi has been using her personal family vehicle for several years to accomplish this despite the difficulty of it. She recently was so graciously given this large van that will accommodate the high numbers of cats and pieces of equipment they moved around . In order for the van to be in good running condition it will need checked over along with a whole list such as new tires , door locks , air conditioning repairs, new brakes, belts , hoses etc. will be needed . It also would be great to address some of the rust and give a quick paint job and maybe a wrap with logo . Most important is to get it in good reliable condition and we know how that can add up very quickly. Brandi and Gilbert don’t earn a paycheck for this and they are willing to continue to do all the hard work. Their work is making a big difference so let’s show our support by providing the funds to bring this very generous van donation up to a fully operational piece of equipment and it will be fun to make it shine on the outside also.
