Fresh Start Sober Living House

This House was at one time a rooming house in Bangor.  I have purchased this house to make a difference in Bangor for what has become a very important part of my life.
The funds will be used to furnish this house with everything required to operate a safe place for men that are coming out of jail and want to recover from drug addiction and alcoholism.
These are men that either myself or others who do service work in the jail have spent time with.
This is a hand up to bring structure and stability to the lives of some of our most vulnerable.
Men who are involved with legal system do to addiction.
The house needs to be furnished as soon as possible.  we are losing men everyday and although this is a drop in the bucket it is a start.
I have personally been volunteering in the jail for over 4 years and for me this has become a part of life.  I have seen way too many good young men come out of jail and been forced to return to a life they do not want.
This has truly been a heart breaking experience.   
Many can recover if they can be given the chances that I and many others were given.
I am grateful that I have the means to purchase this house and now we need the help to furnish it.
