#FreeJoshJaros is a fundraiser to help offset costs for Josh's  immediate needs. Josh Jaros was recently(Sep. 26th) taken into custody in Montgomery Co. TX for 180 days, subsequent to an unfavorable court proceeding. 

Who is Josh? Josh Jaros is an advocate in the state of TX that has , for years, been advocating for Family Crt. reform, by an 'equal presumption' of parenting, enforcing 'Interference with Child Custody law(s), and fundamentally, the right of a fit and loving parent to be involved in their childrens lives unobstructed from court intrusion. Josh was recently instrumental in the passing of HB3145(school lunch bill)

which mandates that ALL schools in TX are to define lunch as a 'school activity' thereby allowing 'non-custodial' parents to have lunch with their child(ren). It's incredulous, that in this day and age, to think that non-custodial parents(statistically fathers) had been being denied this quality time with their child(ren). 

Funds application:These funds will assist with keeping a roof over his   head, i.e. keeping the lights on, assistance with minor maint. of his vehicle (allowing for transportation to work & to pick up his children), etc.... and to prevent his ph. from being disconnected(eliminating his means of 'communicating' with his children). Separating Josh from his children is NOT 'in the best interest of the child' AND neither does it further Josh's ability to earn an income.
1st GOAL: The first $738.00 will be utilized for purchasing the transcripts of the court proceedings, in order to apply a legal strategy to release Josh.

Donations provided will assist with efforts to bring awareness and change to a systemic failure (of a system), that has quite literally touched everyone in some way, shape, or form. Thank you!!
