On June 4th 2018, I was convicted for displaying an A4 'Anti Tory 'Political poster during 2017 Election.
A person complained to the Police that they found it offensive, the Police attended at my home and demanded I took it down, I stated Article 10 European Human Rights of Freedom Of Expression and Politics, that it was not directed towards Ethnicity , Sexuality , Disability or religion and It is enshrined in law for me to do so, I was arrested twice no rights read out or charges made, submitted to an full cavity search then taken to court, after a long day producing evidence and statements from the original complainer that it did not place them under 'Fear and Alarm', the Judge dismissed this and took the personal decision to convict me of this.
At this I stated to him that he has set a very dangerous president in allowing section 38 now to be used to silence peaceful protest and statement, this should send us all into a state of fear and alarm, please help me fund an appeal and send a message back to the state that our rights will not be eroded by the decision of on person who made this personal decision due to their status and background, it was mad despite the evidence that no person was actually placed in a state of fear and alarm and also completely dismissed your/my right to free political speech!
