Please help us provide desks FREE OF CHARGE to RI children.
Todd Schmenk, a RI Mental Health Professional, was inspired by a client to create RI Desks For Kids. This project addresses the mental health and practical need of setting up a place for students to study from home by building low-cost, but high quality desks for children during the Covid-19 challenge.

RI Desks For Kids provides wooden desks free of charge to RI children. We aim to create safe learning spaces where children can customize their space, and feel safe and empowered to learn.
Todd is the Founder and Builder. He works hard in his workshop cutting materials and developing kits for building (think Ikea!). Courtney coordinates his effort by communicating with folks who requests desks and our volunteers, and maintains the email and social media accounts (https://www.facebook.com/RIdesksforkids).
All funds raised here will be used to buy supplies for the desks and pay Go Fund Me fees. Each desk costs $30 to make, and any amount donated is greatly appreciated.
