Free Barbecue For The Homeless

Montreal Homeless Support Group is mainly run and financed by volunteers from all walks of life and different cultures in Montreal, Quebec that united together and collect food, clothes and personal hygiene donations from the community.  We are a mobile service that goes in different districts of Montreal and on a weekly basis, volunteers assist in preparing meals and distribute them as well as snacks at no charge to the homeless or needy. Pet food is also provided for the underprivileged and the homeless persons’ pets. This coming June 16th, MHSG will have it's 3rd annual FREE BARBECUE FOR THE HOMELESS.   The group is continuously seeking additional volunteers, donors and corporate sponsors to provide meals to the less fortunate year round. Special events like our annual BBQ are often done in conjunction with other charitable organisations such as the Old Brewery Mission. The turn out for these special events grows every year as the word gets out. Our mission and special events would not be possible without your donations. The money raised for this event will go directly to purchasing food that our volunteers will then prepare and serve the less fortunate.
