Franklin Boyd's Medical Bills

If you know anything about me, you know how much my cat means to me. On Thursday, he was rushed to the animal hospital with a heart murmur and fever. It was multiple incredibly painful days of not knowing what was happening while he was in the ICU. He didn’t come home until late Sunday night.

The doctor told me he developed heart disease. There is fluid in his heart and lungs but it is a small amount and progressing slowly. Eventually, his heart will fail but for the moment he is stable. However, only if he receives a 3 times a day medication to keep his blood flowing properly. It shatters me to have to say that he needs to be rehomed or surrendered somewhere he can receive that medication otherwise I may prematurely have to consider euthanasia for him. If you know of any resources that may be able to help, PLEASE reach out. I hope to have a plan as soon as tomorrow, 10/19.

The hospital bill is currently at $3,782 and rehoming him or getting him put down will cause the expense to go up. It kills me to have to ask but any help will be so beyond appreciated.

Franklin Boyd is the love of my life and only 4 years old. He has been incredibly spoiled and happy. I should have had him for many more years but now must say goodbye. This news has DEVASTATED me. Speaking about it has been very difficult so if you are one of the many people that also love him, I do sincerely apologize that you found out this way.
