Hello, Leah here (Bradley’s sister) thank you to anyone that takes the time to read this.

On Wednesday the 22nd of may early hours our beautiful Bradley passed away in mine and our mums arms. 19 wonderful years that we were lucky enough to have with Bradley but not without his challenges he’s had to face his whole life living with Dravet Syndrome and multiple other disabilities.

Bradley’s conditions accelerated through the years, he had numerous operations throughout and spent a lot of time in hospital with our mum and Ian (pops) by his side, Where doctors and nurses fell in love with him. Even though Bradley couldn’t communicate he said a thousand words with just a look.

He enjoyed life so so much, going to school and seeing friends and teachers. My mum would always have something planned for Bradley he never had a chance to get bored. He was always out doing something whether that’s walks with his dog Toby or going to the theatre and everything in between. Most of all Bradley enjoyed being around his niece and nephews (more like siblings) they brought so much joy to his life as he did with them. The bond was unmatched.

Everyone who knew Bradley or had the chance to meet him absolutely adored him, it was impossible not too. Bradley’s innocence was his strength and his happiness beamed and was infectious.

Our mum dedicated her life and soul to him. They were one. Everyone could see how much he meant/means to her. From the moment she gave birth to him all on her own she fought so hard, even when doctors had given up. Professionals from around the world have been stumped as to how Bradley has survived to the age of 19 and the only thing they can put that down to is the care and love she gave him right the way through.

Bradley passed away on our mums birthday. This is a big comfort to her as they will forever have a shared day. He truly changed her life for the better. When people felt sorry for her being a full time carer, she would always say it’s a privilege and an honour to care and share so many lovely memories together. He changed her life for the better!

Me, mum, Bradley and the kids were inseparable. He was literally the centre of our world. We literally couldn’t even imagine him not being here and now here we are feeling lost, confused and hollow and not knowing how to go forward with life without him.

My mums life has changed forever overnight. The urge to care for Bradley is unbearable. The routines and medications, appointment, therapies all stopped. She’s in limbo, right now all she can focus on is Bradley’s funeral. In order to give Bradley everything he deserves we have set up this go fund me for people who would like to contribute to Bradley’s funeral. Any donation is greatly appreciated by all of Bradley’s family and I’m sure Bradley himself.
