We slept out to raise funds 4 Furness Homeless

Forty Winks 4 Furness has been created to raise funds in aid of Furness Homeless Support Group (Charity No 1051415) who help people get back into permanent accommodation. We are a team of volunteers, made up of Furness Councillors, Barrow Town Mayor, Barrow AFC staff, FHSG staff and members of the public.

This winter dozens of us slept at Barrow AFC football stadium on 9th Dec 2023 to get a small insight into how it feels to sleep rough on a cold winters night. It was a wild, wet, stormy night but all participants braved the conditions to raise funds. This fund raiser will remain active until midnight New Years Eve 2023 and all funds raised go directly to FHSG
