Hurricane Ian Relief
Spende geschützt
On September 28th, Hurricane Ian made landfall on the coast of Southwest Florida as a near Category 5 hurricane. The catastrophic damage caused by the storm has impacted many in this community, including our mother, Victoria Veglia. Our mother is 62 years old and lives on a fixed income because she is disabled due to multiple illnesses. She owns a condominium in the Golfside community on Island Park road in Fort Myers, Florida. This area unexpectedly experienced a devastating storm surge. We are incredibly grateful that our mother survived this life-changing event. As a result of hurricane Ian, she lost her vehicle, condo, and all furniture and household items. In addition, she heartbreakingly lost the life of her 4-year-old dog, Scooter. Due to her fixed income, she could not afford flood insurance, and because of the damage, she now has no place to call home. While we understand that lives can't be replaced, we're hoping this can be an outlet to help replace things such as furniture, clothes, and daily household items. We are incredibly grateful for any donations you are willing to provide!
Thank you!
