Som utlandssvenskar har vi med tiden kommit att uppskatta hur otroligt lyckligt lottade vi var som fick växa upp i Sverige, där idrott är gratis eller iallafall tillgängligt för barn i alla åldrar oavsett situation. Alla timmar och dagar som vi har spenderat på diverse idrottsplatser och idrottshallar har gett oss vår hälsa, vår tävlingsinstinkt, massor av vänner för livet och så mycket glädje.

Därför har vi valt att istället för en traditionell bröllopspresent be er att donera till oss på denna sida, så att vi med hjälp av er kan se till att fler barn och ungdomar får chansen att idrotta och hitta något de brinner för.

As expatriate Swedes, we have come to appreciate how incredibly fortunate we were to grow up in Sweden, where sports are free or at least accessible to children of all ages regardless of their situation. All the hours and days we have spent at various sports venues and gyms have given us our health, our competitive spirit, countless lifelong friends, and so much joy.

Therefore, we have chosen to ask you to donate to us on this page instead of giving a traditional wedding gift, so that with your help, we can ensure that more children and young people have the chance to engage in sports and find something they are passionate about.
