For the Family of Durrell Sloan

We write with news of a heartbreaking tragedy. Durrell Sloan -  younger brother of our maintenance coordinator Deon Sloan - was shot three times early yesterday morning, and was killed. Durrell's surviving family includes his 11 year old daughter, Deon and their mother.


We have set up a Go Fund Me page in support of Durrell Sloan's family and we invite you to consider contributing. These funds will help the family meet anticipated upcoming expenses. It's a small way of sharing our grief and upset, and of standing together as one Beth Am Israel community to support Deon and his family at this excruciating and difficult time.
