Where to begin? the picture above is my mom and one of my friends from childhood, with me giving them the bunny ears when I was just a little boy.
the story of my mother and I begins together in 1989, the year I was born, At the time she was in a marriage with my father but things where not going well and she had to leave, she once told me what she was thinking in those moments, which I will share here.
"Can I do this alone? Can I raise a baby alone?" and before she realized it she was out the door and on the way to our new life. She found us an Apartment and got us away from the terrible situation she was in, My father is a drug addict who abused her and caused us no end of grief when I was a small baby. She saved us from that by having the courage and strength to move past it for her childs sake.
My mother is the strongest and most kind person I've ever known, she had nothing but love in her heart, not just for me, but for everyone, she always tried to help out anyone who needed it no matter what, or who they where, she even found it in her heart to forgive my "Father" and when he was homeless she took him in.
She was killed on Saturday in a Car accident, taken from us just as we where about to start our journey into a new part of life, we had an opportunity to change things for the better for our family, but she was taken from us before she could even have that chance.
I'm not the best with words But I do know this I love my mother and I desperately wish she was still here! and I wish I had the means to take care of everything that she deserves but I don't, I need help.. I am battling my own demons and problems, but so was she.
She lived a life in permanent physical pain, even disabled she still cared for everyone over her self, she was just that way, always giving, no matter how bad things are.
So I'd like to ask of the world, and fresno the place we called home for the last almost 5 years. I need help, so I can make sure my mom is taken care of.
The money that is donated to this fund will be used to pay for the costs of her cremation and all of the documents and fees that come when someone dies, Anything left over I will use to help start my life over from zero, my mom was the light of my life, she took care of me, in the condition that i'm in and never once complained or even hesitated.
Any one who chooses to donate, know that I will be beyond grateful as would my mother, she always believed the best in people, always gave them second and third chances, I just hope that I do her memory justice with these words.
