For my daughter Chelsea who is fighting Cancer..

Hello, my name is Paulette McGuinness, and I am raising funds to help my daughter Chelsea with her expenses while receiving chemotherapy treatment for Stage 4 Lung and Breast Cancer. This is Chelsea's 2nd battle with Cancer since first diagnosed in 2018 at age 25.

We've since learned Chelsea has a rare genetic mutation of her TP53 gene which causes a condition called Li-Fraumeni syndrome. This condition increases her risk of various cancers by 80% of probability beginning at birth.

Chelsea had to take a leave of absence from her job as a Dental Assistant to treat her cancer. She was able to receive FMLA benefits for a short period which has now been exhausted. She does not have Long Term Disability so she is essentially without any income at all. She in the process of applying for SSDI but if she is eligible, it will be at least 6 months to a year for her benefits to become available.

Unfortunately, Chelsea still has living and medical expenses she is responsible for but unable to meet at this time. She was reluctant to consider using this platform as anyone who knows her, knows she is a proud young lady who doesn't ask for anything. However, she is the first to lend a hand to anyone in need.

The side effects of her treatment have caused immense pain and discomfort but you would never know because she never complains.
